Dreamy Stevie Nicks

Grazia Daily

Unforgettable vocalist and songwriter for Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks has touched many with her music (with Fleetwood Mac) as early as 1975 when she joined the band with her then boyfriend, Lindsey Buckingham, whom she met in the mid-sixties. Together, they helped Fleetwood Mac become one of the best music acts of all time. The album Rumours, which was Fleetwood Mac’s second album after incorporating Nicks and Buckingham, became the best selling album of the year, and is the 5th biggest selling studio album of all time. It was the album of the year in 1978, and the Nicks’ song Dreams became the band’s first and only number one hit on Billboard’s top 100. It also helped that Nicks was good-looking, and knew how to play to audiences. She was named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 100 Greatest Songwriters of all time. But the 1970s was not always a good period for Stevie Nicks, she went through several relationships (with 2 Eagles band members after Buckingham) which caused her heartbreaks. But she endured, and continued to create hits after hits.
