Even up to now, many know who Madonna is, her music is eternal. But things were not so great during the 1970s. The “Queen of Pop” in the 1980s was not really known during the psychedelic 70s period. But, the era molded her into what she became, and was very influential in her life. She was the oldest of eight kids, which was difficult for her and her parents. She took care of the other kids while her parents were at work, cooking, cleaning, and making sure her siblings were safe. It was a difficult time for Madonna, who always dreamt of being a dancer, though acting on short films by friends always cheered her up. What many don’t know, her real name is Madonna Louise Ciccone, the exact name of her mother. Upon gaining popularity in the 80s, she explained what else would she be doing, with a name like Madonna? She said that her career was meant for her, either that or becoming a nun. Well, let’s have none of that “habit”, she was meant for showbiz.
