Another classic television series that aired in the 70s was Fantasy Island, which is where Barbi Benton had become a common face. She was also on shows like Hee Haw, as well as The Love Boat. Crazily, she was also the wife of Hugh Hefner for a time, which helped her musical career at the time under his personal label. Incredibly, she had at least three albums that reached the top 50 in the country charts sometime in the mid-70s. She actually managed to have one song reach number five in the singles called ‘Brass Buckles,’ but most will still remember her as being one of Hefner’s wives.
