Songstress Carly Simon

One of the more beloved singers in the 70s was Carly Simon, who churned out hits like You’re So Vain, Coming Around Again, and Haven’t Got Time For the Pain. Like many other budding artists at that time, Simon was once living in what could have been considered a tiny shack, with another world-renowned singer, James Taylor. After they broke up sometime in 1983, they still remained friends and she even remembers him with fondness. She shared with the LA Times, “I think of that time a lot. It’s part of my blood, my bones, all the liquid in my body. I’ve just taken him in so he’s in my core.”
