18. Consecotaleophobia: Fear of chopsticks

Dating back to China’s Neolithic Age, 1766–1122 BCE, chopsticks are among the oldest implements of the civilized culinary and dining world. Don’t bother trying to impress a consecotaleophobiac with that factoid, however. Someone with this intense fear will have a meltdown at the mere sight of chopsticks, and will go to great lengths to avoid restaurants or social settings in which these are used.
