21. Arachibutyrophobia: Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth

“Crunchy or creamy?” aren’t enticing options to the arachibutyrophobiac, who would not dream of putting even just a dollop of peanut butter, no matter the variant, into their mouth. To a person with this type of gripping fear, the very thought of the spread made from ground, dry-roasted peanuts sticking to their palate and causing them to choke is enough to trigger severe panic. And, while most everyone is afraid of choking, very few people associate it so vehemently with peanut butter.
