We all know and love the gelatinous goodness of Jell-O as a dessert or snacktime treat. Paired with ice cream, fruit, whipped cream, cake, custard, and even infused with your favorite alcoholic beverage, Jell-O  is a well-loved food item. But, imagine it as a savory dish: Jell-O salad (greens molded into Jell-O!), shrimp cocktail in a Jell-O tower, “Ring-Around-the-Tuna” (chunks of tuna, cucumbers, and pimientos molded into lime-flavored Jell-O), Jell-O Bloody Mary aspic (complete with celery, and all), and Jell-O soufflé salad (lime Jell-O with walnuts, grapes, and—wait for it—mayonnaise), among others.
