Her Husband Had a ‘Man Cave’

Kinja

When Joyce and her husband had first moved into their home at 148 Jane Street back in 1942, she was given free rein to design the house in whatever way she liked, except when it came to the master bedroom. He told her that he didn’t want the master suite to be pink! Aside from keeping their bedrooms sans pink, Joyce did something even better! She put together a ‘man cave’ for her hubby that she knew he would love. She outfitted the basement into an area that was perfect for her husband to come home to and relax in after a long day at work. And even if it wasn’t frilly like the rest of the house, it had the perfect retro style that complimented the rest of the house.
