It’s not like the sisters had never dealt with issues with old houses, but it did feel a tad extreme thinking that the house had never been touched for at least 7 decades. And of course Joyce’s age was another concern. How did she manage to clean a two-story house every day, all by herself? Did she cook? Did she order out? Was she a hoarder? Would the house need repairs? Plus the obvious hesitation in Joyce’s voice at selling made them think again, what exactly were they getting themselves into? But no matter how wild their minds raced, they would never be prepared for what they would actually find when Joyce finally opened up her home to them.
