The gold coast of Queensland is a popular tourist destination for local and international visitors. It’s known for its splendid beaches, amazing surf action, unbeatable night-life, great shopping, theme parks, casinos, and much more. But maybe due to its popularity, certain times it can be unpleasantly overcrowded. One of the worst times to go there is during Schoolies Week, where graduating high-schoolers flock to places like Surfer’s Paradise during the last week of November. They celebrate this milestone with a lot of drink-filled, hormone-fueled wickedness. Now if that is what you fancy, good luck. If you prefer to enjoy the Gold Coast with less people, try another month. You would be better off.
