Because of its location and isolation, Australia’s seasons are very different. Summer usually begins in December, and winter starts around June. spring is a lovely time which starts from September to November. September temperatures range from a minimum of 39 F (Farenheit) to a maximum of 61 F, increasing slightly as you get closer to summer in December. Summer temperatures range from a minimum of 54 F to 82 F. Autumn is from March until May, and temperatures range from 39 F to 75 F. Winter, which most visitors consider it to be the best time to visit, has temperatures in June from 34 F to a high of 54 F, which is about constant for July and August. So basically, Christmas is celebrated during summer. It may take some time getting used to, but don’t get confused with the seasons. After all it’s just about the weather.
