It may have been three years ago, and to some of us that was ancient history. But remember it has been 108 years since their last win, a milestone event for Chicagoans no doubt. Following the win in 2016, celebrations saw at least 5 million fans come out for a victory parade. It makes it one of the largest gatherings in history.It is an event that will surely be remembered for a long time to come, at least for loyal Chicagoans. So don’t even try to downplay the victory if it is brought up by a local. They are very proud of it, and you can’t blame them for talking about it, especially to out-of-towners.
