Chicago is a busy city, and a very populous one. People are constantly on the go.They really hate it when tourists are blocking their paths just to stare up at the skyscrapers. Just because you are a tourist does not give you the license to be rude and uncaring of others. Step to the side so that folks trying to go to work, or get home don’t have to maneuver around you and waste precious seconds. While Chicagoans are more polite and friendly as compared to other busy cities, don’t get on their wrong side. Remember that gangsters once ruled the city, hopefully you don’t bump into one. But kidding aside, it just means that you should be mindful of certain behaviors that may piss-off locals.
