Don’t Fly In And Out Of O’Hare

Lots of visitors to Chicago don’t realize that O’Hare International Airport is not even in Chicago. It is actually about a 45 minute ride from downtown Chicago, in the northwest suburb of Schaumburg. Even though you can hop on the “L” (the elevated train) between the airport and downtown, the trip will still cut on your precious vacation time. Midway International Airport on the South Side is serviced by Delta and Southwest Airlines. It will cut down on your travel time, which means you will have more time to devote to seeing the sites and enjoying the attractions. But the choice is still up to you. If you don’t feel like travelling from the South Side, then take the O’Hare. It is better to know your options though.
