Enough of food… One thing you have to avoid is trying to park in downtown Chicago. Aside from it being the most populous city in Illinois, and the 3rd most populous city in the US, Chicago’s downtown may pose a challenge for visitors when it comes to finding parking space. First of all, street parking is not readily available. Secondly, signages may appear confusing, as there are seasonal parking restrictions. Lastly, parking garages are very expensive and mainly intended for long term use. Save yourself time and money, use public transport, it is effective and comfortable. Still, if you insist on driving and looking for parking, do some research first on the area you are going to. If you know a local from the area, ask them for advice.
