If you thought that traffic won’t be a problem in Chicago, well, get ready for a rude awakening. Chicagoans officially have the worst commute in the country, and deal with it regularly. It is not something they are proud of, but with so many things to boast about in Chicago, the traffic situation is not a major issue. But then again, for first-time visitors, it is a shocker. Locals are as used to the long queues and jams just as they are used to the harsh winters. But at least winter is just for a season, traffic jams are all year round. Complaining won’t get you anywhere, and you will surely appear to be a dumb-ass. So just go with the flow, make adjustments in your schedules, and try to enjoy what Chicago has to offer.
