Not just to purchase bottled water, but for snacks and other stuff that you may need. The grocery store is very reasonable, as even locals buy their stuff here. There are many around, if you can’t seem to find one, ask a local, or have a taxi driver bring you if it is far from your hotel. They will probably take you to the grocery store of a relative. No problem with that, you may actually even get a discount or a freebie. Once you find a good grocery store you are comfortable with, keep in mind locals value loyalty. If they notice you purchasing from their store often, they will be very friendly and will chat with you when there is an opportunity. You have just made a friend.
