Never Rent Scooters To Get Around

You may think that renting a scooter is a fun, cheap way of getting around. Surprise! First of all, they are not as cheap as you think, in fact quite expensive. For just an hour it will cost around $73 inclusive of gas, insurance, and tax. A full day rent will be around $180, and remember, the Bahamian dollar is at par with the US dollar. Secondly, they are not in great condition and may break down. Lastly, many road accidents feature scooter mishaps, so not a good idea. Walk, or take a cab. You will surely still enjoy the sights and venues.
