This is very important. Particularly before leaving for your flight back home. Never forget that you will need at least $15 for the departure tax. Some tourists forget about this and spend all their cash on souvenirs or other stuff. Save some for emergencies, you never know when they can happen. Besides, you don’t need to exchange US dollars for Bahamian dollars, as both have equal weight and are accepted anywhere. So keeping some of your dollars is always a good idea.
