Don’t Think All The Islands Are Inhabited

If island hopping is your thing, don’t expect all the islands to have people. Out of the 700 or so islands, only about 30 of them are inhabited. Ask around to be sure you are going to the right place. And if you think going to an uninhabited island is going to be a great nature-trip, realize that there may be dangers of all sorts, with no one around to help you. It is not worth the risk. The inhabited islands are really all you need to visit. They have great beaches, accommodations, and friendly people. Why would you want to miss that for an empty place?
