The newly-wed couple settled in Tiger’s $2.4 million mansion in the Isleworth Golf & Country Club Community in Windermere, Florida, which he bought in July of 2000. The 6,800-square foot property has eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a swimming pool, and is just across the street from the Country Club driving range. Elin preferred a private life away from the spotlight, but supported her husband and accompanied him in major tournaments. Tiger and Elin had their first child, daughter Sam Alexis, on June 18, 2007, just after the U.S. Open, where Tiger finished second. He went on to win World Golf Championship and the PGA Championship in August 2007, and subsequently named Player of the Year. They then welcomed their son, Charlie Axel, on February 8, 2009.
