The Nude Photo Scandal

In September 2006 during the Ryder Cup at the K Club in Ireland, an Irish magazine called The Dubliner published an article which included fake nude photos of Elin Nordegren-Woods. It further stated that photos of Tiger’s wife can be found in several other porn sites. She then filed a lawsuit which was settled in the High Court of Dublin, awarding her around $180,000 which she donated to a cancer support charities. This was a separate incident from the e-mail messages circulated a few years before which contained photos of a woman posing for a nude photo shoot. Although the accompanying text stated that the woman was Elin Nordegren, it was only a case of mistaken identity as it was later clarified that the woman was model Kim Hiott, who has previously posed for Playboy magazine.
