We like her. We really like her. Sally Margaret Field is an American actress and director, with two Oscars, three Emmys, two Golden Globes, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She began her professional career on television, starring in Gidget, The Flying Nun, and The Girl with Something Extra. She has acted in movies and television all throughout the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. On 5 May 2014, she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to motion pictures, and it is located in front of the Hollywood Wax Museum. In 2015, Field was announced to be the new co-host of TCM, and she also played Doris in Hello, My Name is Doris where she was nominated as Best Actress in a Comedy at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. She was arrested on 13 December 2019 while attending Jane Fonda’s weekly Friday climate change protests in Washington D.C.
