Pamela Sue Martin was a successful teen model before becoming an actress. When she heard about the auditions for the film “To Find a Man”, she tried out for the part and won a role in the film. Her strong performance paved the way for her role in Irwin Allen’s “The Poseidon Adventure”. She went on to other roles on the small and big screen, but her breakout role was when she was cast as Nancy Drew in “The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries”. She stayed with the series for 21 episodes before leaving, allegedly because she didn’t like that the two shows were combined in one season. In 1978 she posed for Playboy, and went on to star in the 1980s soap, Dynasty. She currently lives in Idaho and runs a theater.
