Miss Piggy is a Muppet, and quite possibly the actress who aged the best on this whole list. Since her debut in 1976, she has been notable for her volatile diva personality, tendency to use French phrases out of nowhere, and her practice of karate. She is also known for her on-again/off-again relationship with Kermit the Frog, which began in 1976 and sadly ended in 2015. In a 1979 interview with The New York Times, performer Frank Oz outlined her biography. She was said to have grown up in Keystone, Iowa, and her father died when she was young. Her mother wasn’t that nice to her, either. She had to enter beauty contests to survive, as many single women did at the time. Miss Piggy is one of the few Muppet characters to be fully realized in three dimensions in terms of her backstory and character development. In 1996, she was ranked as number 23 of the 50 Greatest TV Stars of all time, by TV Guide.
