Barbara Joan Streisand, or Barbra Streisand, is an American singer, actress and filmmaker whose career spans six decades. She has received two Oscars, ten Grammys, five Emmys, a Special Tony Award, and AFI award, a Kennedy Center Honor prize, four Peabody awards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and nine Golden Globes. In June 2018, she confirmed that she was working on an album entitled “Walls”, which is a protest against the Trump administration. It came out on November of 2018, just before the midterm elections. A featured track in the album is “Don’t Lie to Me”, a track she said she wrote “because Trump’s outrageous lies were keeping her up at night.”
