Adrienne Barbeau started her work on the stage, but in 1972, she took the role of Carol Traynor in the series “Maude”, which starred the late Bea Arthur. She made guest appearances on The Love Boat and Fantasy Island and posed for a famous pin-up poster in 1978. The pose can be found on the cover of her autobiography “There Are Worse Things I Could Do”, which is the song title from the musical “Grease”, for which she won a Tony nomination. In the 1980s, she became a scream queen in horror films like “The Fog”, “Swamp Thing”, “Creepshow” and several others. She is still working in both film and television.
