Goldie Hawn is a great comedic actress. She rose to fame on the NBC comedy program Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In, before going on to receive the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Cactus Flower. She stayed a bankable star for more than three decades, appearing in such films as There’s a Girl in My Soup, Butterflies are Free, The Sugarland Express, Shampoo, Foul Play, Seems like Old Times, and Private Benjamin — for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Her later works include Overboard, Bird on a Wire, Death Becomes Her, Housesitter, The First Wives Club, The Out of Towners, and the Banger Sisters. After a fifteen-year hiatus from acting in film, she made a brief comeback in Snatched opposite comedienne Amy Schumer. Hawn is the mother of Oliver Hudson, Kate Hudson, and Wyatt Russell and has been in a relationship with Kurt Russell since 1983.
