Kate Jackson, or more fondly known to generations as Sabrina Duncan, was the silent ghost, Daphne Harridan, on the daytime gothic soap “Dark Shadows” from 1970-1971. She made several appearances in popular series, but she truly became an iconic 70s star when she accepted the role of Sabrina Duncan for Charlie’s Angels. She was responsible for coming up with the name of the series — it was initially supposed to be called “The Alley Cats” but the networks passed on the title. She left the series after three seasons, but made an indelible impression, nevertheless.
