Susan Sarandon is an American actress and activist. She has received an Oscar, a BAFTA, and a SAG award, as well as been nominated for nine Golden Globes. Known for her social and political activism, she was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 1999, and she received the Action Against Hunger Humanitarian Award in 2006. From 1988, she lived with actor Tim Robbins, who she met while they were filming Bull Durham, and have two sons together. They split up in 2009. Following the end of her relations with Robbins, she began one with Jonathan Bricklin, and helped establish a chain of ping-pong lounges named SPiN. She and Bricklin broke up in 2015.
