The fear or rats is not unfounded, they have been the cause of the death of about 200 million people during the Black Plague. Even if that was ancient history, never underestimate this creature. Some look so cute, especially when they use their front paws to hold a piece of cheese to eat it. While many keep them or some relative to the rodent as pets, they can be dangerous. Even their piss can cause deadly health problems if ingested accidentally (like in the rim of a can of beer stored where there are rats), or if it infects an open wound during floods.
