This weird looking animal feasts on ants, termites, and whatever little bug gets caught in its sticky tongue. Weird looking, but cute nonetheless. They come in different types and sizes. The giant anteater is the largest of all, but equally harmless. Granted it will not bite you, but it has 4 inch sharp claws used for digging or for defense. Even a puma is afraid of the anteater, and they are fiercer than you, so be afraid as well. They do not attack, but if threatened will protect itself. While there is really no history of a human being killed by an anteater, you don’t want to be the first.
