They may seem docile, but know that they will charge at anything that encroaches on its territory. This includes vehicles as well, as they have poor vision. Many safari vehicles have been destroyed or overturned by a charging rhino. It is not only their horns to watch out for. They are strong, and massive. Only the elephant can bully a rhino.They prefer to be left alone. And that is the way it should be. They were never meant to be pets.  While it is sad that most have been hunted and killed for its horns, even if you pity this poor creature, do not attempt to go near one…pity you if you do.
