Let’s start with the small dogs first, those that weigh less than 25 pounds. The miniature schnauzer originated from Germany, and was originally bred for farming, herding, and ratting. Its average lifespan is from 12-14 years. They are intelligent, and full of energy. And they have a hypoallergenic coat. Grooming is still essential as they do need regular hair trims. Their hair grows pretty fast, especially the “moustache.” Great for indoors, they are adorable and loyal as well.
