They are not particularly heavy, weighing just a little over 25 pounds. These terriers have long, wavy, and straight coats. They need to be brushed quite often as their coat is dense. Their hair can easily get tangled. Hailing from Tibet, they can easily walk on snow, given that they have a unique foot structure. They are suited to colder climates, and will do well outdoors. But they will be comfortable also indoors, and are not wild and frisky. Lamas consider them holy dogs, and symbols of good luck. That being the case, if you need a little good luck in your life, this dog is for you. Surely it will be a great companion.
