This terrier is a descendant of working terriers bred to defend a farmer’s land from foxes and vermin. It originated from England, and can weigh up to 18 pounds. They have a very cocky, confident attitude, and are full of energy. While it hardly sheds, their coat does require some grooming. They make great watchdogs and are extremely loyal. They believe they are there to defend the home and humans it lives with. Being highly energetic, they require frequent exercise, like strolls around the neighborhood. They do not fear other dogs, but will only react if attacked.
