From a cute child star to a pretty, and talented young woman, Dakota Fanning is surely known by many. She was just seven years old when she surprised viewers as Lucy Dawson in I am Sam, which garnered her a SAG award nomination when she turned 8 years old. This made her the youngest nominee in history. She also starred in other good films like War of the Worlds, Man on Fire, and Uptown Girls. Definitely a child prodigy in acting. But sometimes, transition to older roles can work unexpectedly. Although her role in the Twilight series was admirable, it may have lacked the effect it had on viewers and critics. She is a young woman now, and will face other challenging roles. Hopefully she finds the right one that will once again wow the movie critics.
