This actress was cast in the 2011 film, The Descendants, which garnered solid reviews. She was featured in several showbiz magazines as one of the new faces in Hollywood. After her success in The Descendants, she was cast in the Divergent series. But the subpar performance at the box office of the 3rd sequel, Allegiant, the studio was making preparations for continuing the series on TV instead. Woodley was not in favor of the idea of leaving the big screen for TV and withdrew from the show. Maybe a mistake in her career, sometimes you have just got to go with the flow. And yet, she decided to accept a role in HBO’s Big Little Lies. Maybe she had a change of heart.
