The Hosting Country Is the One That Pays the Most

Almost every country wants to host the Olympics, and for a number of different reasons, but most want the tourism and the chance to earn tons of money for their country and economy. The International Olympic Committee or IOC takes a look at all the bidding countries and sees which ones they believe are truly in the running. Once they decide which countries to look into, they will pick it country apart, making sure that the economy can not only deal with having millions of people in their country, but that they can convince their citizens that it’s okay to use their tax money to build all the structures required.
