Before the days of Hitler’s regime, the Jews were dominating in quite a number of the Olympics’ sporting events. From fencing to boxing to gymnastics, they were some of the most highly skilled athletes whose Olympic careers were flourishing. So when Nazi Germany was on the rise, they wanted to make sure that their German participants would win as many games as possible. This meant that the Jewish athletes were told to train the German students in their respective sports or go to concentration camps to die.
