The Olympics prides itself in being all encompassing when it comes to different cultures, citizens and countries. But what many had noticed is that it seems like there were never any indigenous groups being represented by their flags. They were allowed to dance during the opening ceremonies but for some reason, that was the only real place where they came out. Apparently, it began way back in 1904 when the St. Louis World’s Fair was were the Olympics were played out and they would pit white athletes against indigenous people from all over the world too.
