Very excellent hunting breed that is smart and obedient. Often called the English pointer, they were developed in England as a gun  dog. Great watchdog that loves the outdoors, good with kids as well. Best suited for active families as this breed is highly energetic and requires a lot of fun activities to remain content. They are affectionate, kind, even-tempered, and loyal. They prefer warm weather to cold weather. Best kept indoors during cold winters, and may need a sweater and blanket.
