Larger than the English Bulldog, they love outdoor activities and socializing with their human companions. They are born to please, and love to be pleased as well. Train with treats and you will not be disappointed. Great family dog. They are particularly good with children and are very loving and protective of them. They are wary of strangers, but properly trained, will not show aggressiveness towards them unless you command them to. They are muscular, stocky, and quite strong. But they are agile as well, built for chasing down stray cattle and helping out with work on the farm.
