A large teddy-bear type of working dog that is very protective yet sweet and adorable. Strong but gentle as well. They learn quickly, and seem to be able to do almost any task given to them. Versatile and loves children. They were named after the province in Canada where they come from. They were actually bred to work alongside fisherman and they love the water. They can be trained as water-rescue dogs. Great companion anywhere.
