Though they are small, they require a lot of exercise and mental stimulation, or may resort to destructive behavior to keep themselves entertained. They have long bodies and short legs. However, they are fearless and will protect their owners always. They were also bred as herding dogs because of their intelligence and stamina. Being a herding dog, they normally bark quite often.
