This all-around friendly dog breed is sociable and outgoing. They do well with strangers, kids, and other dogs. They are very smart, and need variety in tasks as they get bored easily with repetitions. They are medium-sized with a plush, two-layer coat of silver and black. Originally from Holland, and close relatives of the German spitzes. These dogs are people-lovers who love to participate in family activities. They don’t expect to be ever left alone though.They hardly bite or bark, and welcome guests of the home. They can live up to about 15 years or so.
