Also known as the “silver ghost”, this breed is a great hunting dog for the outdoorsman hunting boar, deer and bear. Originally used by royalty for hunts, this large dog is also good for family homes as it is loyal and protective. They love to run and chase, and are quite playful. They need a lot of mental and physical stimulation as they get bored easily. They may look sad with their droopy eyes but are a happy breed. They can adjust to indoor living, and will love to be a couch potato. Just remember that they do need to exercise often.
