Daisy Ridley is now most well known for her character “Rey” in the current Star Wars Trilogy. A lot of people may not know this, but Ridley’s career nearly ended before it even began. There was a time that she nearly wanted to quit and not continue in the portrayal of the now famous character. This happened during the filming of the first film of the current trilogy “The Force Awakens”. It was when director J.J. Abrams called her performance “wooden”, this combined with the pressure of starring as the lead in the iconic franchise, this made her nervous and terrified that she considered quitting. Fortunately, she overcame her doubts and undesirable emotions, and continued the portrayal of Rey. Most fans and critics appreciate her portrayal of the role. Thanks to her efforts, we can now see her portrayal of Rey in the culmination of the story, in the third installment of the trilogy.
