The popular AMC zombie drama, “The Walking Dead”, is full of gloomy scenes that make us feel miserable for the characters, it is also filled with blood and gore that completes its zombie theme. But that doesn’t mean that all of the actors that work on the set of this show are used to all of the bloody and gruesome scenes of the series. In fact, Lauren Cohan (the actress who portrayed Maggie Greene on the show) almost quit because of a particularly upsetting scene in season three, this was the scene when Maggie had to perform a C-section on Lori. During an interview on “Inside the Actor’s Studio”, Cohan said, “The script where Maggie has to give the character Lori a C-section to save the baby that becomes baby Judith. … so, I go two doors down and I knock on Steven [Yuen]’s (he portrayed Glenn, Maggie’s husband) door and I said, ‘I have to leave the show. I don’t think I can do it.’” Luckily for fans of the show, she obviously decided not to quit and continued to portray the now well-known role.
