Despite not winning any singles title in the WTA Tour, Petra Cetkovská still managed to climb the rankings and reach a respectable number 25 in 2012. The charming Czech player sustained a number of serious injuries, including one that had her undergo brain surgery, even before she turned professional. She has been plagued by injuries in the latter part of her career, with her most notable performance a win over Caroline Wozniacki in the second round of the 2015 US Open. She did win a pair of doubles titles, though. She’s currently inactive, and hence, unranked as she is said to be rehabilitating her knee after surgery, and has been seen on Czech commercial station TV Nova.
